I think I complained in a previous post for Owl Crate that I had been sorely tempted to get rid of my Loot Crate subscription. After a couple of months where the box contained stuff from fandoms I don’t even like — or ones that I’d never heard of — I was going to call it quits with the December box.
However, the December 2015 “Galaxy” Crate stayed the executioner’s blow, for it contained a Funko Pop of my beloved Han Solo from The Force Awakens, and other goodies that I liked. So decided to see if the goodness would continue into January’s box.
Let’s take a look, shall we?
I just had to take a picture of the inside of the box! I love the old school arcade look!
OMG! The tee shirt is an offricial The X-Files shirt! Mulder and Scully running from the Greys! I don’t think they ever had the classic saucer shaped ships on the show – but who cares? IT’S THE FREAKING X-FILES!
OMG! It’s a Face Hugger from Alien! But as a plushie? Um, okay…
ROFL! Okay; now that’s the cutest lil’ Face Hugger ever! The yellow band is to attach it to your head — snort! Love the tag where the other aliens are trying to convince us of their cuteness! (Cute, but nope!)
It’s a Space Invader! I’m going to take it out of the box!
So cute!
I have a candy box that is shaped like the old school arcade console on my desk – let me put them together!
LOVE IT!
LEELOO DALLAS MULTIPASS! FHLOSTON PARADIIIIIIIIISE!
God, I love The Fifth Element!
I don’t think I will ever take this badge out of the package, because it has the Fhloston Paradise Logo on it — and the “WINNER!” symbol — just like in the movie!
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man; Mulder and Scully totally could have used a flashlight like this back in the day!
Ooh, I can’t wait to see what mini prints are in here!
Aww, HELL YEAH! Classic science fiction movie posters! I love both The Day the Earth Stood Still and The War of the Worlds! As soon as the snow is gone, I need to find some frames for these beauties!
Loot Crate changed their pins from the button style to this enameled pin! Love the giant alien stealing that Loot Crate box! (Man, those alien invaders have some nerve!)
And finally, here’s the box folded back to reveal a giant arcade style console! Also, here’s the Loot Crate magazine with all kinds of interviews!
I couldn’t resist a side view of the box, because the artwork is so awesome! Nice job, folks!
So, once again, Loot Crate has done an excellent job this month, giving me stuff that I totally adore! Here’s hoping they keep it up for the rest of the year!
See you next time!
