Forgot to update the word counter last night, so I’m out of the running for the “writing 30 days in a row” badge.
What makes this the doldrums is that I’ve only managed to write 500 words a day for the last few days.
I’m starting to think I should put in the backstory notes I’m writing in a separate notebook, in longhand, into the story proper. That would have given me 21,000 words or more. We’ll see what happens today. Wish me luck.
