11/12 — More food of Nanowrimo!

Another 2000 word day, yet I feel strangely sanguine about it.
Perhaps it was tonight’s dinner (which I forgot to take a picture of — curses!)

Tonight I had mushroom ravioli. A store bought brand called Rana, which was quite nice. I topped it with kale, broccoli, spinach and Brussels sprouts, all sautéed in EVOO. Then I topped it with freshly grated parmesan, a little prosciutto, and some arrabbiata sauce. To drink, I had black cherry sparkling water, courtesy of Deer Park.

I swear that it was the prettiest meal I’ve ever made. It was definitely the tastiest. I really wish I’d taken a picture.

Dessert was an apricot Go Raw bar. It was nice, but I really miss those figs. I’ll have to see if they come back in stock this weekend. The fresh ones are so much better than the dried.

Tazo Chun Mee green tea as my “something hot” instead of soup. It’s very nice with the apricot bar.

Off to watch “By the Sword Divided”, episode two, on YouTube. Haven’t seen it since the original 1983 broadcast on PBS. It’s still good.

See you tomorrow.
