A large blue-black robot and a medium-sized grayish-green robot were trying to convince a smaller yellow robot to stick its neck in a noose.
“You’re kidding me? You want me to stick my neck in that?” asked the yellow robot.
“Nope; not kidding. And yes,” answered the large blue-black robot.
“A noose is not going to kill me. If anything, the rope will break and I will face-plant onto the floor.”
“Special reinforced rope. It’s threaded with stainless steel wire,” said the grayish-green robot, tugging on the rope.
“Or the ceiling will give way. And then I’ll face-plant onto the floor.”
“Do you think we haven’t prepared? The ceiling is reinforced too. See those rivets up there? No chance of you pulling down the upper storey onto any of us,” answered the grayish-green robot.
The smaller yellow robot looked at the medium-sized grayish-green robot, then at the larger blue-black robot.
“You’re kidding me right?”
“Why do you keep asking us that?” the blue-black robot asked.
“Why do you want me to stick my neck in that noose so badly?”
“Just do it!” yelled the grayish-green robot.
“No.”
The grayish-green robot let out something akin to a sigh. “It’s for science,” it said.
“Oh,” answered the yellow robot. “Why didn’t you say so?”
